Upon your initial enuiry, we ask for your contact details, the address of the premises that needs clearing, and a brief description of the scale of the work that needs to be carried out. A quote can be given over the phone if we are being asked to clear a small amount, but when a complete house or even vaster areas need clearing, we need to get a visual idea of exactly what there is so that we can estimate the weight of it. Usually, we arrange to meet you at the address that you wish to have cleared. We arrive in a car (rather than a van) so as to avoid you feeling obligated in any way. As you show us around the house or premises that needs to be cleared, we will make notes as to what you would like us to take. quoteWe categorise this into:
We are then able to calculate the cost of the clearance, taking the above 3 factors into account. Having left the property or premises, we will phone you within the hour to give you the quote. This is always confirmed in writting and upon your acceptance of it, we arrange a convenient time with you for us to carry out the work. We will phone you prior to the work being done, just to confirm that the time and date is still suitable. Having arrived in the van some people like to stay whilst we do the work, whilst others prefer us to give them a call once it's all done. Its entirely upto you though. Upon completion of the job, we can provide you with an invoice, alternatively we can send it to you (if you were unable to meet us) or we can forward it to your solicitor or estate agent upon request. If you are selling a property that needs to be cleared, but you live at great distance, or even abroad from it, we are happy to liaise with your estate agent and you, collecting and returning the keys to them, both at the time of providing the quote, and agian, should you wish us to go ahead with the work.
