We perfectly understand just how stressful it can be when you're in the process of selling your house, and we often find that people leave the clearance side of things until the last minute. We would like to reassure you, that having contacted us, we will pull out all the stops to get your house clear and tidy in plenty of time for you to be able to exchange contracts with complete piece of mind, or in readiness for the occupants moving in etc.

On occasion, our clients live at great distance, or even abroad from the property that they are selling. To minimize your inconvenience, and make the house clearing process as easy as possible for you, we offer the service of collecting the keys from your Estate Agent. We do this initially, so that we can see what needs to be cleared from the property, and in turn, provide you with a quote. Upon your acceptance of this, we liaise with your Estate Agent, arranging to collect the keys again, carry out the work, and return the keys on completion of the job.

We are fully licensed with the Environment Agency to clear absolutely anything from your property. This allows us to provide a complete service. We are happy to deal with, and advise you on the household items that have re-sale value, but we also are happy to deal with any amount of rubbish that can not be re-sold or even recycled. House contents of this nature are disposed of in a responsible way and the service also includes bagging up of all smaller items from drawers and cupboards. Doing this ourselves, enables us to organise and separate the recyclable from the non-recyclable things.

2. Have you just moved into a house that still needs clearing?

Sometimes, home buyers arrive at their new house, and unexpectedly find that there is still clearance work to be done. This can make moving into your new house very difficult, but having called us, we will quickly get the house cleared of everything that the previous occupants have left behind. In this situation, we usually get everything that's in your way from inside the house, out, so that you can move your belongings in. Being out of the way of you and your removals company, we can then clear everything that we placed outside.

Dealing with all aspects of house clearances, we can take everything and anything that the previous occupants have left behind. We advise that you talk to your solicitor about the house clearance arrangments though, as the financial responsibility may lie with the previous occupants, rather than you.
