Yes.  We can clear absolutely everything that you would find in and around a property or business premises.  We can clear all the bulky items, everything from the drawers, cupboards, and wardrobes, the rubbish as well as the re-usable items, old carpets, outdoor buildings such as sheds and greenhouses, and even large vehicles and machinery.

We will purchase items if they have high enough re-sale value.  With items that have a lesser value, we can advise you of their probable value, so that you can consider advertising them, locally.    We may be able to off-set items of value against the cost of the rest of the clearance too.

Yes we do. From motorbikes, cars (modern and classic), motor homes, caravans to boats, trailers and even planes.

Yes, absolutely.  You will be shown proof of our Environment Agency registration at the time of the quote.  You should note the registration number – this ensures that you have exercised your legal duty of care, in selecting a licensed waste carrier.  

We are insured for damages that could possibly occur to your property, whilst a clearance or removal is in progress.  We also have goods in transit insurance up to a value of £3, 000, 000.

Yes. We provide a FREE same-day-quote. If your clearance deadline is urgent we will also get the job done for you at the shortest of notice.

In this situation we offer the service of collecting the keys from your Estate Agent, neighbour etc, both at the time of calculating a quote for you, and again when the work is to be carried out.   The quote confirmation, and invoice can be sent to you by e-mail, and any payments can be taken over the phone by debit or credit card.

Yes. We clear private property, commercial premises, we work for a wide range of professionals – clearing anything from rubbish and disposable waste to antiques and house contents with high re-sale value. We can also clear vehicles, gardens (demolishing outdoor buildings when required) and vacated traveller sites.

This is possible when you only have a few items that need clearing, if however the clearance is on a larger scale, we really need to get a visual idea of the amount and weight of what needs to be taken. By visiting the property, we can also ascertain what can be recycled, and whether there are items with re-sale value. These factors all help to determine the quote, but are obviously difficult to do over the phone.

No. The price we quote you will be confirmed in writting. This price will include all disposal charges, other and labor charges. Unless you ask us to take more or less than we originally quoted for, the price quoted will be final.

Yes. We can clear anything from a small shop or office to a large industrial units. We have also removed large commercial vehicles and machinery in the past, and we are licensed to carry hazardous waste. We issue all our commercial customers with written quotes and invoices.

Yes we do. Copies can also be sent to other parties on request.

Yes we are happy to do clearance work on any scale.

Yes. When clearing a property we sort through what is to be cleared, and load the van systematically, as this helps us to deal with what is recyclable more efficiently. Many things that we come across in the line of our work can be re-used.  You will notice, as we carry out our work, that we will organise the house contents into like-materials, so that we can unload all plastics in one area, all cardboard in another area for example, at the waste transfer site.  It can then be sent for recycling. Anything which is not recyclable or re-usable is responsibly disposed of at the nearest commercial tip.  We set aside some items for shipment to Africa, as we are involved with an organisation which helps those living in extreme hardship.

Yes. We’re constantly available, if you need to discuss your clearance requirements with us, and if you need the work done urgently.  Even if your local office is fully booked, our head office will be able to put you in touch with another of our offices, which has availability to help. 

Yes.  We do removals of full house contents, part house contents, or just a couple of items.  We carry out removals all over the UK.  Often, we are asked to deliver a few items that mean a lot to family members after they have lost a relative, and originally looked us up in order to arrange clearance of the house.

 

We do not advise this.  If items are placed outside, and become vet, not only does it often make them unfit for re-use, but it’s likely to make them heavier too, which in turn, would increase the disposal costs.

Yes.  Our piano wheels, and vans with tail lifts make clearance and removal of pianos very easy.  We have dealt with grand pianos as well as upright’s, and moving them up or down flights of stairs isn’t a problem either.

No.  We have companies that we contract work of this nature out to though.

Yes.  We have protective clothing for this type of situation.  We can also remove the wasps nest.  For other types of pest control, we have companies that we contract work out to.

Please don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed.  There are many reasons why a person might start to hoard, fail to clean up, or just loose the will and motivation to keep on top of things.  It is no reflection on you or them.  Over the years, we have seen all manner of things, so there’s nothing that really shocks us.

Yes.  We will need to know the volume we are clearing before a quote can be provided.

It depends on the size of the house, how much is in it, the access in and out, and how close we can park the vans.  The maximum time we have spent on a house clearance is 5 days.  That was for a very hoarded property however.  Generally, a house will be cleared in no more than 2 days.

Yes.  We can clear all appliances.  We are licensed to clear hazardous appliances such as fridges and freezers, which contain gasses that are harmful to the environment, if not disposed of correctly.

Yes.  We clear all rubbish and waste.

If items have high enough re-sale value, we place them through our sale.  If items can be recycled, we group them into like materials so that they can be sent for recycling after we’ve delivered them to the commercial disposal site.  If items can be re-used, we are involved in arranging their transfer abroad to impoverished African communities of third world regions.  Items which are only fit for disposal are also dealt with at the commercial disposal site.

Yes.  In addition to clearances, we offer a range of services that might come in handy.  These include, a complete probate service, cleaning service, painting and decorating service, gardening service, and removal service.

Clearance, removal, cleaning, decorating, and gardening, and removal quotes are all provided free of charge.  We do charge for probate valuations though.
